Physical Education
Aims and Objectives
  • Develop positive attitudes toward physical activity, inspiring students to embrace a balanced, healthy lifestyle now and in the future.
  • Broaden students’ physical literacy, confidence, and sportsmanship through a diverse range of activities inside and outside of school.
  • Features
At St. Joseph’s Primary School, Physical Education is “education through the physical experience.” We provide students with continuous opportunities to stay active, refine their movement skills, and build strong character:
  • Vibrant Recess Activities: To build daily exercise habits, students enjoy active recess options such as basketball shooting, football skill challenges, and 4‑square games.
  • Major Annual Events: Highlights of our school year include the Athletics Meet, Swimming Gala, and Inter‑Class Sports Competitions, where students demonstrate teamwork, resilience, and class spirit.
  • Diverse Sports Development: Structured training is offered across a wide variety of disciplines, including Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Football, Fencing, Rugby, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Volleyball.
  • Our ultimate vision is that all St. Joseph’s Primary School graduates will carry forward a strong foundation of physical fitness, sportsmanship, and a lifelong passion for an active lifestyle.
